Terms and Conditions of Use

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before using this website. By accessing or using this site, you agree to be bound by the terms below and all applicable laws. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this site.

1. Statutory Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you purchase from us online or by phone, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods. This entitles you to a full refund, including standard delivery costs, only if your order hasn't been dispatched. This right does not apply to personalised or custom-made goods, unless they are faulty.

2. Extended Returns – 3 Months

To support our customers, we offer an extended 3-month returns policy:

  • Returns within 1 month: Eligible for a full refund to the original payment method.

  • Returns within 2–3 months: Eligible for store credit only.

Return Conditions:

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in as-sold condition, with all Uniform7 and manufacturer tags intact.

  • Items sold with hangers must be returned with the original hanger. If not returned, a 25% deduction applies (excluding statutory cancellations within 14 days).

  • Items must be currently available to purchase at full price on Uniform7.co.uk and not part of any sale or clearance.

  • Items with names written or printed inside are not considered resalable and cannot be returned.

  • Returns are not accepted in any other condition unless the item is faulty.

Please contact customer service before returning goods to confirm eligibility.

3. Faulty Goods

If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact customer service before returning. If a product develops a fault within 6 months of purchase, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

4. Items Not Eligible for Return

We do not accept returns for:

  • Customised or personalised items, including name labels. 

  • Special order sizes

  • Optional Items with school logos (unless faulty)

  • Any items with business logos, unless they are faulty or there is an error on our part. 

This does not affect your statutory rights.

While we discourage ordering multiple sizes for fitting purposes, we offer a comprehensive level of customer service to help you make an informed choice. We reserve the right to refuse your return if this is the case. However, if you are still entitled to return items within 14 days under your statutory rights, we will still accept them.

5. Exchanges

Please contact us directly to discuss your exchange request.

6. Refunds

Refunds are processed on the same day that we receive your return. If your return does not meet our conditions, it may be rejected. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

If you haven't received your refund within 7 days, please check with your payment provider before contacting us.

7. Ordering and Processing

Orders are typically processed within 10 working days from the date of cleared payment.

During peak periods (e.g., back-to-school season), processing times may be longer. Updates will be posted on our website.

8. Delivery Services

We currently offer a range of tracked delivery options:

  • Royal Mail Tracked 48: Charged at £4.95 for orders under £65.

    • Free delivery is available on all orders over £65 and is sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48.

    • Royal Mail Tracked 48 usually delivers within 2–3 working days, though this is not guaranteed.

  • InPost Locker Delivery: Charged at £3.99.

    • You must collect your parcel within 3 days of it arriving at the locker.

    • Uncollected items will be returned to us, and you may be liable to pay for redelivery.

If part of your order is returned and the remaining value falls below the £65 threshold, the original delivery charge will be deducted from your refund.

Delivery times are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers. Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery. Please ensure your shipping address is entered correctly. We are not liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete address information.

9. Click & Collect

Our Click & Collect service is available for most schools we work with and is charged at £2.00.

  • Deliveries are currently made on a fortnightly basis, every Friday.

  • This schedule may change on a termly basis — full information is available on our website.

You will be notified by email when your order is ready for collection. Please contact Uniform7, not school staff, with any queries.

10. Personalised Fitting Service

Some items are made to order and may only be available as plain samples during fittings. A £50 minimum spend deposit applies when booking a personalised fitting service:

  • Cancel 1 week in advance: No charge

  • Cancel 3–7 days before: £5 charge

  • Cancel 1–2 days before: £10 charge

  • Cancel on the day: £20 charge

11. Product Information

We make every effort to ensure accurate product descriptions, colours, and sizing. However, slight variations may occur. We reserve the right to substitute products with the closest available alternative if necessary.

Prices include VAT where applicable and may change without prior notice.

12. Payment Validation & Fraud Prevention

All transactions are subject to validation and anti-fraud checks. We may share address data with third parties for verification purposes. We reserve the right to cancel any order where payment cannot be validated.

13. Payment Methods

We currently accept:

  • Card payments (in person and online)

  • Cash payments (in person only)

  • Secure payment links (available upon request)

We do not accept personal cheques, postal orders, or telephone payments.

14. Lost Parcels

If your parcel has not arrived, we will follow the investigation and claims process set out by the delivery carrier (e.g., Royal Mail or InPost). If your parcel is confirmed lost, we will offer a replacement or refund as appropriate.

We reserve the right to refuse future deliveries to addresses deemed insecure.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review them periodically. The version published at the time of your order will apply to that purchase.

16. Intellectual Property

All content and materials on this website are the intellectual property of Uniform7 or its licensors. Reproduction or redistribution without written permission is prohibited.

17. Indemnity

By using this site, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Uniform7 from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from your use of the website or breach of these terms.
